Getting to Know Marilyn

Favorite food:   Seafood – or “see food” – LOL.  Seafood: all kinds and levels of cooked or uncooked, seared tuna is a favorite.  Love to try exotic flavors, spices and textures.  Weakness – chocolate

Favorite quote: “Think like a man, act like a lady, work like a dog” – magazine 1980.  I was 20 years old the first time I read this quote. Having just entered the world of “Wall Street and finance” I thought it was the only way I would survive.  I’m still here!

Best piece of financial advice: Buy on the rumor, sell on the news.

Favorite holiday: Three Kings Day – It’s on January 6th.  Although I grew up in the USA, it was new to me at age 12.  It was like a second Christmas!

Favorite movie:  Alien –  In space no one can hear you scream. But she survived!

If Marilyn could meet anyone, past or present, it would be: Marilyn Monroe

Something on Marilyn’s bucket list: Fly over a volcano in a helicopter.

Favorite author: Stephen King

Most impactful book read: The Stand

What motivates Marilyn: To be the best possible example to my daughters of believing in yourself, and to always try your hardest and you will succeed.

Favorite place:   The beach…white sand, turquoise water, hot sun and great company.

Most proud of:  My two daughters Samantha and Sabrina, who have learned that family is the most important thing.
