Beth Brown has worked in Finance for over 30 years, highlighted with an entrée in banking, followed by Client Service work at a small TPA firm and working for a major telecommunications company in their Commissions department for almost 10 years. Beth is an Atlanta native and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia. Before settling back down in the Atlanta area to raise a family, Beth lived in Paris, France where she travelled extensively throughout Europe and Western Africa. Beth serves a key role on the Wellspring Wealth and Planmark teams as her core responsibility is client service. Skilled in Sales, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Team Building, Management, and Reporting for our 401K clients. She and her family live in Alpharetta.

Favorite Food:  French food including cassoulet, magret de canard, jardiniere

Best piece of financial advice:  from my dad years ago, “don’t put all your eggs into the MCI basket”.  I had a diversified 401(k) and when WorldCom bought MCI and ran the company into the ground, my 401(k) was still intact.

Favorite holiday:  Christmas

Favorite Movie: Shawshank Redemption

If Beth could meet anyone, past or present, it would be:  Mother Theresa and Princess Diana

Something on Beth’s bucket list:  World travel, including Amalfi coast in Italy, Greece and Australia

Favorite Books/Authors:  The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards, Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen and Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See

What motivates Beth:  To be a good example for my daughters, 23 and 19 years old.
